I'm using start8 and dual monitor setup in extended mode. Is there a way to keep the metro start menu up on 2nd monitor while have a browser or another program open on the 1st monitor.

Hello Jimbo,

It's just that there's not a known way since the Start screen closes when anything is opened or focus has changed from by default. It's the same with the Start Menu from previous Windows. :(

Well finally someone replied. Well that's not what I wanted to hear, but hey.

Windows 8 is the only OS with the metro screen and that's what I was wondering about. Nothing like it before, so that's why I asked the question. I just think it would be handy to have it up on a multi monitor setup for quick access. Just wishful thinking I guess.
