How to put ex. ones picture folder, or other links, on the Metro UI s

How can I make easy access to folders, functions (other than those installed default) and app's directly from the Metro UI by making tiles there?

Just type whatever you want at the metro start screen, you don't need a box, just type and you'll automatically get a pane in the right with a search box and locations, you can choose whichever location you want. E.g. typing notepad will show up notepad.exe, right click on it and pin to the start menu. I'm not sure about folders yet, I was trying to pin Downloads folder but haven't succeeded yet.

I am having a small problem with the metro mail tile. When someone sends me an email with a link to a website, and I click on it, it opens up in the "metrofied" version of chrome. I would prefer it to open in the desktop version of chrome. I am fairly certain that my default web browser is the...

Whenever I click on a link in in email the Metro IE app opens instead of 'regular' IE. I've tried downloading Firefox and made it the default browser but the Metro app still insists on taking control when a link is clicked. That might be OK on a tablet, but it certainly isn't on a PC. I'd love to...
