Apps open and close quickly on app. page

So I got a new computer a few months ago, and one of the first things I tried to do was download Skype. Which it succeeded, that made me happy, but whenever I try to open, it opens up, and right when the little loading circle is suppose to show up, it just closes out of the app. It does that same thing on my calculator. I also downloaded a game on the app store call "ARMED" which worked fine, but now it does the same thing. Some apps work, like the weather and calender. Computer is up to date on all OS updates and driver updates.
This is my computer: HP Pavilion p6-2350 Desktop (Black): Computers & Accessories
I hope this is in the right section....

So, I figure'd it out. I did the thing that the guy above said, but it didn't fix it. So I tried something else.
What I did was: Windows bottom+c > settings > Change pc settings (located at the bottom of interface) > General > Refresh your PC without effecting your files (Third option from the bottom)
It will take a while but it fixed whatever the issue was that I was having and I didn't have to re-install LoL, which was a total plus.
Also, my name is suppose to be "GalaticAnonymous". Damn character limits.

Yep, that was the last step in the troubleshooting, but glad to hear you got it sorted now.

I normally only use 2 apps: the Mail and the Video, and even after I close these two apps, when I take a look at the Processes tab in the Task Manager, they are still there, there's no more CPU usage but they keep using Memory, which is usually a lot. So every time I want to actually close an app I...
