Video App

Hi, Sorry if this has been posted before. Just have a slight issue with the Windows 8 Video app. When i forst got my laptop the app was already there and was the default media player, and it was fine. I clicked on a file from a folder and it played. Out of nowhere though when i click on a file it takes me to a grey screen with 'My Videos' on Xbox Video. Is there any way I can make it just play my videos the way it used to? Thanks

you can right-click on the video and select "Open With..." and choose your desired video player like Windows Media Player or Media Player Classic or Winamp or VLC or whatever player your want.

you can also do this in Default Programs. which you can go to Control Panel. or you can bring up the Start Screen and just start typing default programs.
