I always liked acronis. If paragon weren't a fair bit cheaper, I would have bought acronis.

Acronis True Image 2013, the new version for Windows 8, is reliable. I have used it at least 100 times (on different machines) and have had no issues. Incremental, Differential, Full and MBR in disk mode.

True Image has features and tools that other programs do not have. A full rescue media suite is available as well. One feature, kind of nice to have, is that you can transfer the license to another computer.
    ...depends on what you need.
Do you still have to be a disc-jockey when restoring the image, if it got burned onto DVD's ?

It's (maybe was ?) pretty annoying to change every few seconds the disc's of the burned image, when restoring it.

It was and maybe still is quite ok, when using a folder on a HDD to store your image.

8.1 installed on SSD, Easeus backup doesn't see my HDD any more, so I can't make an image of it. It only sees the C drive and my external hard drive, but not the internal HDD (Hitachi 500 GB) that I use as a second drive for storing personal data. I tried with Macrium Reflect, and same problem.
