Printkey2000 is a very useful application in quick saving a screenshot. Is it compatible with win8? I have it in the office PC but not at home. Is there a similar application for Win 8? Thanks!

No need for it. WinKey/PrtScrn saves screenshots in a Screenshots folder in My Pics.

There's also Shipping Tool included with 8 again.

Hey, thanks HippsieGypsie. I just tried it.. and here's the screenshot:

The other good thing about Printkey2000 is you can use a window to capture only the portion you want from your screen using "Rectangular" window toolbar? Anything like that with Win 8? Or I would I have to do it (cropping) with Paint?

For portions I use the Snipping Tool. Go to Start Screen and starting typing "Snipping Tool". Right click on it for options. Personally I placed it both on a Start Screen tile and on my desktop Taskbar. You'll need to perform the typing twice to do so.

One can edit screenshots and snippets in Paint or some other picture editing program or app.

Printkey Pro 1.05 does work on 8, I've had it crash on load the first time you load it, but there after it seems to work just fine (grabbing rectangles, etc). We have several people at work who live by the program, and if it wouldn't work on a system, I'd most likely have to downgrade them to Windows 7 from 8 just to get it back...
