when did I install that app?

how do I determine when I installed an app? cause I dont recall installing xbox smartglass on my windows 8 laptop.

I'd just look at "date modified" property of the directory that the application was installed in. When a file gets installed, it usually carries the date and time of its creation, however when the setup program creates the directories they carry the installation date.

the best way to do is to open the Store app.

then with a mouse, right-click and go to Your Apps. with touch or trackpad, you swipe down from the top of the screen or swipe up from the bottom of the screen.

this is a complete list of all the apps you've downloaded and installed. it separates it by PC conveniently as well. so you can tell what app is on what PC if you have multiple PCs. it even tells you what apps you've downloaded to another PC that are not on your current PC.

ok..I didnt choose to install xbox smartglass, which shows as installed on 4/2/2013, but thats the same day I updated skype, is it possible that app came bundled with skype?
