FYI: Modem Mix by Stardock is pretty neat

I have been trialing out the products from Stardock for windows 8 since you get a 30 day trial with them
I have purchased their star8 for one of my windows 8 computers because classic shell does not run fine on that one, and I purchased decor8 which I like. I am now trialing Modem Mix which allows you to customize the Metro IU and bring it into the desktop so you can multitask with another program instead of having only one program open on the metro screen.
This one I really like so far. Since I am going to give it a few weeks and it behaves nice like the rest for $4.99 it is worth buying since I have not seen anything else out there similar or works better.

Yes it is ! Even for Metro lovers !

Stardock is great. That's what's great about third parties. They bring things to the table that may not have been thought of by the first party provider.

I remember Apple getting criticized for not including very basic amenities with various Apple products. But look at the industries that have massively spawned because of that. If there's a need, some entrepreneur will pop up to fill that need.
