Solved Opening MS Access files

I just set up my new Windows8 computer and I can only open MS Access files by first opening MS Access and then opening the file. If I try to open them by clicking on the file itself, there is no program associated with these .accdb files. So I have tried to change the association in Control Panel>Programs>Default Programs>Set Associations. But I cannot get MS Access to come up as an option. It asks me if I want to look in the apps store, I click 'more options', then MS Office 2010 (because otherwise, the only Office option that comes up is Word), and then it takes me to some strange blank window. If I choose "look for another app on this PC", I go to Program Files, MS Office, then the only option is the Office14 folder, which gets me nowhere as far as I can see.

Thanks for any help you can give me!

Okay, problem solved. Instead of looking in the Program Files folder that W8 takes you to, I needed to be looking in the "Program Files (x86)" folder. Not intuitive but I guess I shouldn't have expected it to be. ;-)
