because some people can't afford to buy a lot of music song by song. it's too expensive that way. yes, there's piracy but a lot of people don't want to deal with that.

this (and Spotify by the way) is a great way to have a huge library instantly.
Yeah I know, it would seem that if you can afford a computer and an iPod then you will not be able to afford to buy music. . .
for people that really aren't into a lot of music, buying per song is okay. but when you listen to tons of music, it's not okay. there's no way I'd spend $3+K on songs. I remember how much I spent back in the day on CDs and there's no way I'd do that nowadays. With services like Spotify/Xbox Music, I can listen to whatever song I want any time, online or offline.

not everyone has your listening habits so stop trying to tell people what is an option and what isn't an option. if the option's not for you, don't use it. that's like telling someone that wants to buy a Toyota about the Ford. if the guy wants a Toyota, he's entitled to the Toyota.

Here we go with the "Stop telling people how to live crap." It is funny how people read into things when it is not even applied. Oh well, the righteous are always right no matter what. . .
