Hi, i am trying to install TuneUp Utilities 2013 v.13.

It was already installed to my pc, i uninstalled it using Revo Uninstaller pro ,the uninstallation setup was not starting so Revo Uninstaller Pro deleted everything in the registry about that program and everything in the program files). The program now isn o longer in the control panel's "uninstall a program" feature.

Now i want to Install the program again and when i run its setup, it says that it's already installed, pls help. I tried doing a system restore and it did not work.

**I already tried sfc/scannow

Always uninstall from Windows Programs and Features, no need for 3rd party/ in-between uninstallers because they can mess things up. It can be Revo's fault but also a glitch in TuneUp's uninstaller or settings. Don't really know.

You need a restore point from before Revo uninstalled the program because the registry needs to be in good shape.
Probably there are still some registry entries left, check manually in Program Files (and x86) and see if the folder with tuneup still exists. before you attempt any system restore.
Try to look in CCleaner as well and run a registry cleanup just to see if it detects TuneUp entries.

The program entries are located in Hkey_local_machine\software then look for TuneUp or its manufacturer.
Delete the right map or let CCleaner do it if it finds it then try the re-install.

Be careful next time.

Then look for TuneUp files or folders in Program files and entries the Registry.
I also mentioned CCleaner.

The setup also must have left something in your user's folder in (hidden) ...\AppData\Local\...

If any of these steps sound confusing let us know.
