What are some good CPU temperature monitors for Windows 8?

I had to get rid of realtemp because of BSOD issues. What are some good monitors that will track the temperature and give me warnings when it goes over? I keep my computer under load quite often and really need one.

Speedfan is what I have used for years, it gives you temp and fan speed readings with alarms and hard drive smart data readings. It doesn't always start with Windows 8 but there is a new version in the Beta testing stage so hopefully when that is released it will start every time with Windows. You can download it here SpeedFan - Access temperature sensor in your computer

I did a fresh format and install of Windows 8 64 Bit Pro. Sorry but I couldn't live without a start button so I have installed the Start8 start menu which is great. I try sometimes not to use it but find metro frustrating to find programs as I have many. I will use Metro for apps only and desktop of serious computing.
'Core-Temp' is good. Had no issues with it.

Aidia64 Extreme Edition works superbly. Although you have to buy it, it does give you a 30 day trial period and it's only 30 days. But there are plenty of others out there and some really good free ones. HWmointor, CoreTemp just to name a few.

If you have an Asus motherboard it usually comes with it's own called PC Probe II and would be on the CD that came with it or available through their site.

That's what I use. There's a stand-alone version that requires no install, which is nice.

Coretemp is really great, small footprint, cpu temp monitoring. Also, hardware monitor can and has been known to cause stability issues with certain hardware and graphics cards, namely nvidia cards, while running rivatuner for GPU onscreen display, due to over polling of the sensors.
I've had personal experiance with it, while trying to get CPU temp to show in the onscreen display overlay alogn with gpu temp etc... the only way to get cpu temp in there was to run hardware monitor, and it would cause my graphics drivers to crash, a lot.

I use HWmonitor for monitoring CPU temps and it works great, but if you just want information on your CPU then I would suggest like others who have replied to this post to download Core Temp.
