install and uninstall is harmful?

hi guys
some of my friends told me that only install my Necessary programs and say that if i install programs and uninstall them too much , my registry will destroy and my pc will work slow.
is it true?so if it happens , how can i clean my registry?

I don't like to install/uninstall programs very much because of the possibility you mention. But, here's something proactive you can do. Make a restore point both before and after you install something new. If you don't like it, then use system restore to remove it. If later you have problems, but not with the program you installed, then you can restore back to the point right before you installed it. Of course older restore point eventually will be removed so you need to create restore points periodically at points where your system is functioning properly. See my sig; there are other ways of making sure you can go back to points in time where your system is working properly including what's in my sig and programs like Acronis True Image, Paragon, etc.

I don't like registry cleaners. IMO, they can do more harm than installing/uninstalling a few programs.

create it exactlly after install windows or create after install windows and install necessary softwares?
create restore point by windows or by softwares?which software is optimal and better?acronis is heavy

Do all:

restore point both before and after installing new software and

after installing OS and other software at installation and

periodically when your system is running properly

On this one: "after installing OS and other software at installation."

You might create a restore point before and after installing each piece of software, but that's a bit extreme--sometimes.

If you think that the registry is already messed use CCleaner or Registry Mechanic to put it in order again.

Win 8 has a Refresh option also. Click settings (lower right) change pc settings>General and on the bottom see Refresh. Read about it first.
Have you imaged your OS or in other words, did you back up your system.
Win 8 has a native program while Macrium has an excellent free one.
