How to restore original Windows 8 icons to start screen

When I installed Windows 8 it had icons about news and stock, weather and other icons in the start screen.
I deleted many of these icons but would like to get them back, do not know how.

    Thanks

Hello Lovelf, and welcome to Eight Forums.

It depends on if you "unpinned" or "uninstalled" the apps from the Start screen.

If you only "unpinned" them, then you could just open the "Apps" screen, select the app, and "Pin to Start".

If you "uninstalled" the apps, then you could reinstall the app from "Your Apps" in the Store.....

.....or search for the apps in the Store to install them again.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn
