Music and Video Apps show titles not asked for or wanted

Newbie here.
Running Win 8 Pro Using Music Tile it displays xbox music and a whole bunch of titles I didn't ask for or want
How do I display only my music and get rid of the titles I don't want!
Same issue applies to Video.
Appreciate any suggestion and help with this issue

I despise that app, so I don't use it at all. I set WMP as default music and it acts the same as in 7. Personally I'm not an app guy but I did play around with it some.

winamp is my default player.

but I still keep Xbox Music. with that app, it's like you own all the music of the world. you hear a song that you like? you add it to your music library and can play it any time you like. you want Kelly Clarkson's entire album? add the whole thing. and the music discovery is fantastic. I found out artists like Regina Spektor who I would've never found on my own.
