I noticed that plot3d function does not work for me, more specifically, maple is not able to paint 3d plot, program just hangs when it must show me 3d plot. My PC details: Windows 8 x64, Maple 16.02 x64 with updated Java 7u11 x64, Intel HD Graphics first gen, everything works perfectly, including OpenGL. I tried some tricks from maple help - to add few flags to java, but it did not help. In addition, because of this problem, when I try to export a file with 3D plot to PDF, maple just creates empty and damaged PDF file. Does anyone else have this problem? So, if you have maple 16.02 installed, please open maple, go to help, then type in search "plot3d", and have a look at 3d plots, if your maple can show to you 3d plots, and tell me, if it can, and what graphics card you have. Thing is that there was rewritten much code in new maple version 16 for making 3d plots, so i would like to know, what is wrong.
