I can't figure out how to get back to reader

Help! I am brand-new to windows 8 and my pdf opened in the new reader but I can't figure out how to get back to reader or open it without redownloading the pdf file or by go back to my documents and opening the pdf again. I know it is here somewhere but where? Thank you for your help in advance, I had no idea where to post this question because it is so basic!

Hello mabelandbess. Welcome to EightForums.

Windows key (Start Screen appears) -> Start typing "reader" (without quotes) (it should appear top left) -> Right click with mouse -> Choose pin to start at left of menu that appears at the bottom -> Press WinKey -> it will appear on far right of Start Screen. Move to your desired column by holding on to it with right mouse button, then release when you have reached the final destination. I usually fly over the top or bottom of the columns as not to disrupt other tiles. Holding the tile to the far left will scroll the screen to the right, or you can dip the tile to the bottom of the screen to make the columns zoom out to place the tile that way.

Edit: I'm not sure of the touch gesture. Probably hold till menu at bottom appears?
