Video app stuttering

Hi all
I have windows 8 pro and when I use the video app and begin playback the video stutters very badly. I see about 1 frame every 5 seconds. The audio works fine. Then after about a minute the video clears up and everything plays perfectly. I can play the same videos in windows media player and they work great. I have a Radeon 6250 and AMD dual-core 1ghz processor. Any help would be appreciated!

there's a lot of information that's needed. what player you're using. what type of file you're playing. what settings you're running in catalyst. what codecs you have installed. etc. etc.

I presume you have installed all driver correctly. Try installing any 3rd party free codec. It helps me a lot. Or you can try this K-lite 9.7 from codec.com
