photoshop cs6 error 16 solution for windows 8 ?

hi guys i recently installed cs6 in my computer which has windows 8 as an os.when i tried to open it it showed me error 16.i found there is no solution to fix this for windows 8.anyone who has a clue on to fix this please help

I have Windows Server 2012 - which is built on Windows 8 code - and Photoshop CS6 x64 runs normally.
Did you install Photoshop + patch it correctly: is your copy OK? Get another and try that if in doubt.

I also am using cs6 with windows 8 pro with media center, without issue.

Try this. Uninstall cs6 and any previous versions. Google adobe creative suite cleaner, download, and run. Then reinstall, and hopefully it will work.

Make sure you have a folder C:\ProgramData\Adobe\SLStore, if not then create one.
Right click on Photoshop.exe and Run As Administrator.

If this works then you can set Photoshop.exe to run as administrator:
Right click on Photoshop.exe->Properties->Compatibility and put a check on Run this program As Administrator.

I've been running Photoshop since "Pontius was a Pilot" I.e a Long time - and never had a problem -- currently running CS6 with the last update (it's all gone subscription and cloud in future so this will be my last version of Photoshop) and it works fine on Windows 8.1 X-64 as well.

Just uninstall everything and re-install -- you might have to re-activate (like windows) but that's usually not a problem with Adobe's servers.

Adobe cs6 might need .net frameworks.
It could be the root of your problem..
Do you have Frameworks installed?
