I have only had win 8 for one week and so far still can't get on with it, can any one tell why I tap on windows store app or e.mail I just a green page with a windows bag that just sets there doing nothing I have waited up to 10 mins then give up, also explorer 10 just keeps going down so I have to use chrome

Just to add to my problems I now find that must of the apps on my start screen do not work such as SkyDrive, store, e.mail, people, photo's weather, maps, so I ask is there something I need to set up, also when I use Explore 10 I keep getting plank pages, but not with Goole chrome

what have you installed on your new setup? what programs? what drivers? what changes have you made since you first installed Windows 8?

Did everything work when you first installed win8?

No had the problem from start no apps that were already on the start page work, I have not added any new apps as I can't even get into the app store

Set your user account level to the highest setting........made all my apps except "travel" work.

also make sure that your anti-virus program isn't hindering things, a lot of people had that issue with their apps

Ok done both turn off firewall and user account level to the highest setting still no joy
