Rosetta Stone Version 3 problems

Hi:

I'm having a hard time and I want to see if anyone could help me. I just got Rosetta Stone version 3 and installed on my Windows 8 laptop, it runs smooth, but somehow, during mic use, it gets stuck and crashes, doesn't show not responding message or something, just stops working. Is there any solution for this? I have to restart the program completely so it works back again, but it's really exhausting to be doing this every single time.

Are your settings for mic use configured correctly within Rosetta Stone? Are you using a built in mic or external mic ?

Hey, I'm sorry, I forgot that. The first time it was the laptop mic, but It took me out of the software and didn't let me use anymore Rosetta with mic, like there was non. And now I plugged an external, it works better since I can restart the program and keep the lesson but it is really annoying
