Can I use "Easy Transfer" from XP to Win 8?

Hello, I am trying to verify if I can use Easy Transfer to mover files and settings from an XP machine to a new Windows 8 machine. I heard that the XP machine must be SP3, correct? ANy other restrictions? Thanks far any help!

No, the Easy Transfer only works from Win7 to Win8, in my experience with it...
