Unless you are on an RT tablet I would just use the desktop version, from the reviews the app is not very good, perhaps after some future updates it will be better.

Since I'm using the Skype app instead of the desktop version I experience enormous latency in recieving Skype messages. It can take up to 2 days before I recieve them (and my pc is always connected with the Internet).

Is this problem due to the app version or can something else be wrong?
