    Close button in Apps

    Is there any way I can have a close button in the Windows 8 apps,

    It annoy me when I move my second hand to the keyboard to press Alt+F4 in order to close the app
    OR
    Hold the mouse click on the app top and drag it to the bottom, too much movement

    Hi,
    You don't need to close any apps when you decide to carry on with another task, it goes to suspend mode when you switch to another task and it doesn't use any resources, you can also close it if you want by moving the cursor to top left and right click to close.

    Use this if you want less movement
    @Brummyfan
    True, it doesn't use any resources but it does take up memory.

    You know, it never ceases to amaze me just how lazy we are. "Oh my god! I can't be bothered to move my hand 6 inches! It's the end of the world!"

    If you think about it, it's really a pretty petty complaint.

    Yes, it annoys me too.

    Dreadful ergonomics.

    I have removed all the apps permanently - quite a relief to get rid of the crapware.

    In OP's defend, I don't use laptop but have helped friends with theirs and it is annoying to use touchpad to swipe from top to near bottom to close the app.

    Very Agree, it is very annoying and painful to close a metro app.
    Too bad MS removed Me.Close() code from VB2012 for Windows 8.
