    Where is "Update Apps"?

I saw it once before and now can't I find it when I need it. I gotta tell ya the Apple App store is much more user friendly

Edit: Is there no way to search for apps by name?

And yes, I am a complete nave newbie to Win 8.

Windows 8 Pro x64 with Media Center

Press windows key or go to start then click "Store"

You should see app updates in upper right corner *if there's any regardless of the apps category
