Seems a bit silly, but (using the default xbox music app) I can't have music playing in the background. I want to be able to hear my music as I do other things (on the desktop in particular), but as soon as I switch to a different app, my music cuts off.
What gives? I'm pretty sure this is just me missing something - no way this would be built in. Or is there no way to get past the apps automatically suspending themselves? Shouldn't the music app start a background process? Searched, but couldn't find anything.
And having it playing but taking up a fifth of my screen is unacceptable: even my cell phone can keep things going in the background. Especially when hitting my volume button even shows a little media control. I can pause/skip a song, but not hear it?
I miss my Zune software.
