Remove cloud apps

Hello to all,
I have found using the pre-release W8 on my old system to run pretty fast and well. My issue is that I do not wish to use any cloud apps at all and want to delete them and replace them with the regular .exe programs. I have uninstalled all the apps that I've found on the start screen and installed the appropriate programs such as Thunderbird, Firefox etc. Not being very up to speed I was wondering if this unusual approach has been taken up by others and what things I might have missed or need to add.
For instance, how do I install the Window,s photoviewer program as I've removed the app? Things like that.
Appreciate any assistance, thanks in advance!
Glenn

Right click at Start and hit All apps, and just right click on each of the program tiles you want to see on the Start Screen; then on the bottom you can hit Pin to Start. New tiles appear!

You can also use this from the Desktop, say if you want your Documents and other libraries, hard drives, Control Panel items, or other programs on the Start Screen, just right click on them and hit Pin to Start from the context menu. New tiles appear!

And you can group them and arrange them as you please.

Some of the apps can't be "uninstalled" to my knowledge, but all the old viewers are still there. I certainly don't need to view individual images fullscreen, so I right-clicked, chose Windows Picture and Fax Viewer as default. There might also be a menu to change those file associations.

There is, go to All apps, scroll over right, and you'll find Default Programs. That'll let you change file associations.

Howdy Coke Robot,
I deleted the tile and under All Apps, I can't find any reference to the Windows Photo Viewer. Thanks.

There is no Windows Picture and Fax Viewer in the start screen. I guess I did delete it. Thanks!
