Hi All,
Windows 8 has stopped giving me notifications. I'm not getting the pop ups or the sounds for things like new messages in the Messaging App. I think this is also affecting notifications from other apps such as the Mail app but I'm not certain as I've not received any new emails since noticing.
When I Alt+Tab back to the Messaging App it says that the person I am conversing with is offline, this then changes and says something along the lines of "We can't send messages at this time". Then it changes again says my friend is online.
Then any messages he has sent come through showing the time he sent them.
This all takes 2-3 seconds.
My friend is receiving his notifications without any problems, regardless of what he's viewing at the time.
I have checked the notifications settings within the App and within PC Settings and they are enabled.
Any ideas?
