Solved Store app buys

I have tried several times to download a game from the Store app and I get a message telling me to check my email for verification. I check my email and check the verification box. I am told this is not the correct email address, yet it is the email account shown under my profile picture. I do not know what to do to correct this problem.

Do you use capital letters in your email address? I know it shouldn't matter, but I tried signing into an MS account where it did matter.

I don't know what happened but my app download function is working. I am able to load programs OK.
