I just moved my Hauppauge 2250 dual HD tuner to my Windows 8 box (with WMC) and after taking several hours to download the latest drivers from England (their US site is down due to Sandy) I have WMC set up to display tv...
I had to (as I have before on Windows 7 installs) go through and enable some digital channels in order to get the hope of HD. Right now, it looks like some might be coming in in HD, but the zooming doesn't move it to full screen, they look window-boxed with borders all around...
Is there any way in WMC (or with other software) to determine which digital channels are being received in HD?
Is there any way to ensure that HD channels expand to full screen?
I did not load WINTV 7, I just loaded the drivers... Does this make a difference?
Thanks!
