When I open the Photo App and open photos from my photo library I get double images within each frame. Does anyone have a similar problem? Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Hi, Hope I'm on the right track here in understanding exactly what you mean. Are they 2 different images or a duplicate?
When I open Photos App it also first opens with 4 separate images on the screen. However in the extreme bottom right corner of the screen you will see a minus and plus sign (- +). Now select one image and click on the plus will increase it's size and will do so each time you click plus. Now click minus and down it goes - keep clicking and you will find it reduces until ALL your photo folders appear allowing you to scroll through them to select folder required. Then by selecting and clicking plus it will fill the screen. You will find that right clicking will produce further options like Browse by Date, Picture Show etc.
Hope that helps.
Regards.
Yorky.

Thank you for your response. No, it is not 2 different images. I'll try to explain it as best I can. It seems to take each picture and overlays itself onto one picture, so it looks like half the picture side by side within itself. Maybe a better way of explaining would be for example: say you had a picture of two people standing next to each other. It displays as one person twice within that picture, cutting off the other person. If I zoom in it shows the picture correctly with both people, but as soon as I zoom back out it goes back to the double image. This is only happening when I go to the photo app from the start screen. When I got to my desktop and open the picture folder from file explorer the pictures are normal. I hope you can understand how I explained this.

Yes I do understand, you've made it perfectly clear thank you. However I'm afraid your problem is beyond my range. The only suggestion I can make is what I'd try if it were happening to me.
I feel it must be a glitch between the App and your Picture Folder and I would try uninstalling the Photo App and then via the Shop download and re-install in the hope it makes a better 'connection.

Thank you again for your response. The app that I am using is the pre-installed built in Photo App and unfortunately I don't think it is possible to reinstall any of the built-in pre-installed apps. If you know of a way to do this I will give it a try.

I do know how to regain any uninstalled App - I discovered how when first deleting 'Mail' and then getting it back again.
Actually you can do a trial run (before uninstalling) as the 'App' is held in stock in the 'Store'. I've just done it myself to allow me to prepare this reply.
You go to 'Store' and then open your Charms and select Search. Now type in the Search Box the correct name as here: 'Windows Photo App' and press Enter. You will see a screen with 115 Apps. The third App from Top Left is the one you want. When you actually go in to get it just select it and follow the instructions to install.
I've prepared a graphic which I hope I'll be able to upload now.
Good luck - hope it solves your problem. Photo App.jpg
