    Media Center 8 Pixelated

Just downloaded Media Center 8 and tried to play an AVI video....very poor playback all pixelated.

Same PC, same AVI file, but with Win7 booted and Media Center 7 up and the movie plays perfectly.

Also, VLC Media Player on Win8 plays AVI file perfectly.

Checked Graphics Driver details and Win7 has Intel Q33 express Chipset driver dated 2009, while Win8 has a driver dated 2012 which has WDDM in brackets.

Anyone any ideas on codecs etc for Win8 Media Center?
