pparks1: do you ever use the snap feature to keep a handy Modern UI app on the side of the screen while working on the Desktop?

I have, but at 320px wide, it's so narrow that unless it's something very, very simple.....its too narrow to really do anything with. And why have it go from top of my monitor to the bottom of my monitor. It seems like wasted space.

[QUOTE]Hello HG. Not sure if I like maroon or green better.
You certainly have a lot of little green cubes under your new title.
Lol! Green means go. Someone saw fit I needed all those green squares I guess. That's ok, but I'm here for the fun.

Really enjoy reading your posts, BTW.

    on your location, tho....

I run several mail accounts over the 8.1 mail app. Had no trouble until a recent major 8.1 update. Since then I have problems with 4 mail accounts: 2x gmail and 2x yahoo. Under two of my gmail accounts is the text “needs attention”. If I click on these, a “connecting to server” (white) window...

I know how to display two metro apps in a 85/15 (approx.) split screen but is there any way to give each app equal screen space (i.e. 50/50 split)? I can't seem to find a definitive answer for this.
I upgraded to the CP a few days ago and just noticed a huge problem. The "Show Desktop" tile that is normally on the start screen be default has gone missing. I can't figure out how I got rid of it in the first place, but is there some way to add it back? EDIT: I have changed the title to more...
