    Programs not opening on startup

I have a few programs that aren't starting up when I boot into Windows 8 Pro x64 (final):

3 programs I made myself (very simple, uses registry key for starting at boot)
    CleanMem Free
    Peerblock
    RealTemp

I've tried placing them into the startup folder (AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup), and that doesn't work. I have Windows Defender disabled and my antivirus isn't blocking them at all. Just in case this helps at all, I'm using Stardock Start8 v1.00 (latest).

EDIT > Just started using Task Scheduler and that works (the only thing I've found that works), so I'm marking this as resolved. Reference to posts #14 & #15 in this thread. (#14 could help developers trying to get their applications to start at boot - I've not tested it.)

Are they just delaying? Or not starting at all??

Not starting at all. If there's any other info that could help, I'd be obliged to submit it.

Yes they do, and they still don't work. I've done a lot of Googling, and no answers.

For every program? No. They work just fine, but won't startup on boot.

When you turn on your PC and after logging into Windows, you do a restart, do your programs start?
