Maybe a stupid question (again), tutorial

Does this forum (or 7 or 10 equivalent) have an area or general link that has all standard tutorials in one place.

Many of the question I had, seemed to be in tutorials, but a search gives so many links/pages, that after 1-2-3 (max) search pages, it is easier to just ask the same question (again), which is good for internet search like Google, Yahoo and such, but maybe boring for longterm posters, as they need to repeat themselves again and again.

but as an user of this forum (as so many others) and as an idiot (as so may others),
would it not be better to have that Tutorial Forum a bit more prominent, since it is the first time I saw it after about 3-4 week being here, and many times was referred to a tutorial without knowing (or checking) where it was.

If it happened to me, it happens to others.

Well it is a sticky thread, always located the second one down once you are in the tutorial sub-forum,

That seems pretty prominent to me.

Forgive me, but "always located the second one down once you are in the tutorial sub-forum" I amd others would actually already have found the tutorial forum on http://www.eightforums.com/.

The Tutorial (sub)-forum is at the bottom, with a link in the header (menu) I also just noticed for the first time.

The way people come to 7-8-10 forum is by search engines, in the middle of a thread, most times.

I have been here almost a month and had to ask the question. Yes, I am very direct and vocal, deal with it.
If that means 7-8-future for me 10 forum will not help me anymore so be it.

Do NOT get offended due to positive questions.

I am just stating a fact from my experience (guess it was just me, out of 7 billion people on Earth)

As a website designer and ex-10-years-forum owner, I do understand things.

Again, FORGIVE me, just trying to ask questions and help.

I'm not offended. The current system seems to be working for most but if you have a suggestion you are certainly free to share it.

I actually use Google to find tutorials on sevenforums/eightforums, it is simpler.
Lets say, that I search something, so I enter: start screen shortcut eightforums

100% true

website search functions never worked for me and return bogus results, google gives me results I want to see.
This behavior applies to any web site not just this forums.

copy & paste following into google and there you go, you have a link in single click.

I was taught the stupid question is the one never asked.

And help is why we come here, both to provide it and get it, I think you are safe.
