When typing anything on this forum, my blackberry heats up and has really bad typing lag. It works perfectly fine everywhere else, even seven forums. So how do I disable the auto save feature? Not once hase it been useful.

Thanks.

Darn. It's the one thing that makes composing on eightforums painful.

Who finds it useful anyways?

The Curve 9360 is a pretty good phone, and I don't see the need to upgrade just because a certain forum needs an app because it has a feature that interferes with text input.

I'm not one of those people that must absolutely have the latest and greatest, when there is something that suits my needs better at half the price.

I see this is months old, but one can compose a post in Notepad to copy and paste to the forum even on a phone. Hope that helps.

Show me a phone with Notepad.

And having to use another application just to post on a website is just ass backwards.

I have a Droid2. It has QuickOffice with QuickWord. If I know my post is going to be long-winded, I'll use it or Notepad on my PC to write. If I get interrupted as sometimes I do, I can save and continue later. Sometimes I'll have different or additional thoughts and edit. You may think it's backwards, but I don't. Besides, it's a way to get around the forum auto save, which is what the topic is.

It may be good for longer posts, but most of my posts are only a couple sentences or so. It is doable, but switching back and forth is a royal pain. Again, this problem is unique to this forum.
