Silly question perhaps... but presumably you have paid for this domain and such, so what happens if they dont call it 8? what if they go back to stupid names, like i don't know, "Windows Fusion"?

windows fusion.. i thought it's their custom to name the windows based on version coding.
Still it might happen just like what happen to longhorn

My Computer

I almost hope they do give it a new name. I much prefer Windows Vista to Windows 7, in terms of the name, no matter what Vista is replaced with (i.e. Fusion). I would look forward to finding out what the new name will be, though they probably will just call it Windows 8 :(

My Computer

I like the numbers, helps keep track of the version and when it was made.

I don't think after all this time to start naming it with a number, would they turn around on the next version and start calling it some random name again. Especially with the success of Windows 7 they've seen so far. I think if it works, they'll stick with it. It makes sense, and it's a logical move.

I liked it when they put the year it was supposed to be released. That way you didn't get Win95 released in 1996.

btw are sigs turned on? Looks like the cosmoline is still on. :)
