Has anyone figured out how to highlight text, right click and then "search tutorials" in context menu? That would save a lot of time. So many fixes are in there.

Nar, but you could also do a Google search from within Tutorials to search for them.

A few years ago Microsoft removed the feature to create Internet Explorer Custom Search Providers from their website, which was a really stupid decision. Why remove such a useful feature??? However, a third party website allows you to still create them and therefore you could create a Custom Search Provider to do what you describe.

1) Go to EnhanceIE.com - IE7 Search provider builder
2) Insert www.eightforums.com/tutsearch.php?q=TEST in the URL box
3) Insert Eight Forums in the Search Provider name box.
4) Click install button
5) Click 'Add' button

Note:
If you want to search directly in Google or Bing you could alternatively use the following URL's in step 2 instead of the eightforums link, however the search results won't be strictly limited to the tutorial sections, instead it will include any pages that contain the word 'Tutorial' in them as well as the search term:

https://www.google.com/search?q=site:eightforums.com+tutorial+TEST
https://www.bing.com/search?q=site:eightforums.com+tutorial+TEST










Note: As the eightforum tutorial search feature utilises Google, if you have Google blocked in one of your Tracking Protection Lists, you'll need to have Tracking Protection turned off on the Eight Forums site in order for it to work.


To remove the Search Provider you've just added, go to Tools > Manage Add-ons > Search Providers, select the search provider and click 'Remove'.

For some reason I overlooked that one. I kept using either top right corner or "search this category." Neither of which seemed to hit what I wanted. But I'll go with this one.

Edit: One weird thing I noticed. FF 30.0 32 bit just hangs when I search using that search line. Works fine in Opera.

Edit2: I just tried FF30.0 in the equivalent search line on W7 forum and it worked normally. Strange.
