Post keeps getting deleted. Why oh why?

    Hi all,

As explained in the title, Today I posted a new thread on the forums about a self-made PowerShell script used for Windows tweaking, which people might be interested in.

It seems to have been deleted twice, but sadly without reason.

Anyone out there who might enlighten me with the "why" question?

    Thanks in advance,

    B.M.

Just a guess and I have no clue as to why the Admin(s) removed it, but maybe because it was deemed insecure or potentially unstable. I didn't see it so I don't mean anything by it.

Long story short: I've made a PowerShell script with lots of tweaks.
It was my intention to share it with the community, hoping to see my baby grow into the world.

If indeed deemed unsafe, I would appreciate some sort of feedback from whoever deleted the post.
    With all due respect ofcourse!

If you listen carefully, you can actually hear my heart breaking...

    Hello B.M. ,

Unfortunately your thread had been removed and held in the post bin for now since the download from a hosting site you posted changes so much in Windows, and the source is from a new unestablished member. These two factors makes the download to be considered a potential risk to others, and why it was removed.

Once you have been around for a bit and have been established as a known and trusted member, this will no longer be an issue.

It's just that we must consider the safety of all our members and visitors in such matters, and hope that you can understand and not take offense.

    Brink,

Thanks for the reply. Your explanation is totally understandable for me.

But perhaps it's worth mentioning, you cannot simply run the script itself. Some steps are needed before it will even start.
Would it be an idea, to only post the documentation (since I've allready written that part)?

That way, people can read into it and perhaps decide if it's something they would want to use?

Let me know and thank you for the reply.
