    "Post New Thread" Button Missing.

Hi, is there a reason why the "post new thread" button is missing from the "Windows 8 News" forum?

    No hijacking intended.

How do you define hijacking ?
I would really like to know.

The intention of my post was that if I could see it, then the problem must be with your computer.

Running sfc /scannow might fix the issue.

I see, so I need 100 posts to start a thread there.
Shame, as I have a very, very good "News" story to post.

    Thanks xunile.

    You're welcome.

I think you only need 50 posts to be a member, I've seen people with less than 100 posts with the "member" status.

I've given you some rep, so one day you will be able to post in the elitist's "News" forum.

Hi all, So I'm kind of stuck.. I currently have the problem where I am in an endless cycle of "loading files" -> "Windows Boot Manager" (see: How To Boot Into Safe Mode On Windows 8 (The Easy Way)). I have tried to load all of the options -- and none successfully load. I also end up at...

Hi! Hoping I've come to the right place here. I've searched a lot on Google for problems identical/similar to mine, but they all seem to want me to install their own private little "fix" tools, and other than essential "well-known" software such as Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and CCleaner, I'm...

I don't know what they're thinking with this. Seems you can now click on the Stop button and the Task Manager will open. It will then show you programs Microsoft doesn't like or think should be running and highlights them. It then asks you "Do you want to Stop this process and use Metro...
