"Rude" has a fairly subjective definition. I see a lot of rudeness, on the part of some frequent posters, but see no evidence of changing behavior. So I'm assuming they're not being warned.
I am sure some members are so used to having their tender parts wired up with electrodes attached to the Eightforums naughty chair high voltage generator, that they sometimes appear a bit tetchy, and may occasionally type a few words with the Caps Lock on, but generally they are quite amusing. As long as they do not lose it completely, it would be a disbenefit for all of us to lose them.

True it is very subjective. Sometimes it's nothing more than just frustration or joking that was taken as rude, but not.

I got banned on SF because of that. Remember that on SF I was only 12, but I'm 13!

If you run across any posts that you feel are rude and not this, then please feel free to report it. We'll be happy to take a look at them.

Just curious, if I linked to another forum for reference of something (XDA-Developers), would that be something that could get me an infraction or ban?

    Hello CeeJay,

No. It would only be an issue if it was spam or just for pure promotional purposes.

    Hey David,

Nar, banning is not fun and you wouldn't want to be.
