Solved Forum question on viewing unread posts

It's nice to be able to ignore users, but it's not so nice that:

1. Threads they start are not ignored.
2. Thread they bump show up in the "unread posts" view.

The second one is especially onerous, because "unread posts" is my primary entry point to the site, and it is common for threads to appear in it for no other reason than one or more of the very prolific posters that I have ignored have replied to it. If these things cannot be enabled by some setting I haven't found, please consider it a suggestion for improving the board. Thanks.

Hey administrator, sorry for replying on this thread by i didnt know how to post on the windows 8 thread, it will be very helpful to tell me how to add a payment for the store by using another country than the US cz i dont have the zip code neither a telephone number to add, and the country selection is set to be only the US, please help me i need to buy stuff from the store, thank u very much for ur time, which all a merry Christmas and happy new year

Since this thread has been brought to my attention again (twice!) for replies that have absolutely nothing to do with it, please consider this a renewal of the request in the first post. Or maybe I should just ignore my own thread, if that's possible. In addition to the better management of ignored users mentioned in my first post, the ability to ignore threads and even subthreads would be another fantastic new feature. These things made Usenet usable back in the day, and I don't know why these features tend to be missing in forum software.

Unfortunately the forum software is lacking in ignore user options and I cant see any way in the code to make what you want happen
