    Problem solved Hi Strollin Thanks for your help/advice. I have managed to solve the problem by locating the WLF under C:users\XXXX\appdata\local\microsoft\windows live mail and changing it to .old. Then uninstalling WLM and reinstalling. This worked.

    After upgrading from windows 8 to 8.1 windows live mail 12 is no longer working. According to the ISP this is a known Microsoft problem. Any suggestions would be much appreciated:cry:
