If you have skype set to start when windows loads, try turning that off and see what happens, seems weird you'd be getting a skype sound when restarting.

You might want to run a memory tester on that RAM, try Memtest 86.

Make sure your motherboard has the latest BIOS and try installing from a USB flash drive. I never could get it to install from a burned DVD even after several re-downloads and re-burns to a DVD. I then performed the USB install method and it installed perfectly and has been running fine ever since.

It finally showed up yesterday, exactly one week after submitting. I did it five times with five different e-mail addresses and have only seen one of them so far.
