    You might not need to know this but my old hdd started bugging out after I installed my GTX 1080.

    I see what you mean but I don't think the hard drive is faulty... I think it is just not being found, but I will try with the WD software :think:

    It probably wont change anything unless the OS optimises the drives depending on which one it thinks is in there. :sarc:

    The thing is the hard drive will show up fine in the BIOS but not actually in the OS (Whatever the "OS" is at this point)

    The Bios will detect the hard drive ok and the old hard drive was turning on then off on a loop I think that was because of a off balanced platter.
