What I had to do was to create a new Hotmail account. Then in my new Hotmail account I added my pop3 account that I wanted to add to windows 8. ITs a long way around, but it works.
Has anyone tried to set up their Comcast email account on the Windows 8 OS? I am not able to do so.
I believe I have all the correct information entered in, it just says that they can't find settings for myemailaddress@comcast.net
