    I wonder if we will get a key so that if we have to do a reload in the future we can re-install 10 instead of first having to install 7/8.1? I know that previous upgrade Windows products, you could install the 'upgrade' version on a clean hard drive by inserting the CD of the previous version...

    Press the Windows key on your keyboard along with the R key. The run box should pop up. Type appwiz.cpl and click OK. Click on 'View Installed Updates'. Scroll down until you find KB3035583. Right click on it and then select 'Uninstall'.

    It's not a pop-up. It's already running and in the task bar with no way to exit. So if it had been malware, it would have meant your machine was already infected so opening up an active program couldn't make it worse.
