I'm having a friend try my 290X in his system, while I try his GTX 970. The 970 runs perfectly fine, so it looks like it could be an issue with the 290X. I'll have to wait until I hear back from my friend.

Ok. I've tried some more things including using the GT 630. While the 290X will black screen in Unigine Valley within about 10 minutes, the GT 630 ran it happily for 4 hours, albeit at much lower settings. I certainly looks like an issue with the 290X, so I've sent an email to VTX3D's support...

I've just had another black screen occur when I left my PC running F@h for about an hour. This time, it was completely frozen again, so pressing Num lock did nothing.

Yep, my PC is free of dust, and temperatures are well within spec. And my R9 290X is easily enough to run the game I was playing, Nosgoth.

I've RMA'ed my memory. Sadly, the replacement could take up to 28 days to arrive. Lets hope the replacement fixes this issue!

I decided to revisit the memory, in case that was the issue. Guess what - the same exact memory address failed 5 out of 20 MemTest runs. I've attached a screenshot of the report here: http://i.imgur.com/VZCOGMM.png Seems like this could very much be an issue with the RAM?

Those BSOD's occurred while I was experimenting with overclocking my CPU - something to be expected. I've since restored the stock settings for my CPU, so that shouldn't be an issue. Do you want to me to run Prime95 regardless?

Thanks for the fast reply! I have the Intel integrated graphics disabled in the BIOS, so I went ahead and removed the Intel drivers. I had run the uninstaller for the Nvidia drivers when I installed my AMD graphics card. Strange that there's still leftover drivers. I've uninstalled that and...
