    Solved Random restarts

I finally figured out the issue. It turns out it was hardware related, the GPU. More precisely the water block, as it turns out the card is running fine now that I've mounted the original fan. I have no idea why, the temps were great. Only thing I saw was that I used too much thermal paste when...

    Solved Random restarts

Thank you. Just got another random restart before I saw your post. Was playing a game (Guild Wars 2). After reinstalling Windows I've seen some stuttering in-game, and when I alt-tab it takes an extra second to get back into the game (playing in windowed fullscreen), it was instant before. Did...

Thank you. I've uninstalled Bitdefender, and activated Windows Defender. Guess it's not easy to figure out why the Nvidia driver crashed.. according to others who had problems with it, it can be both software and hardware related. Btw, those red drivers. I don't have a Logitech keyboard, only...

    Solved Random restarts

Seems there's still something going on. Just to check, I booted with Driver Verifier active, and this time it actually loaded Windows. After using the PC for a few minutes, it crashed and restarted. Loaded into Windows again, and the same happened after a few minutes. Looking at Event Viewer...

    Solved Random restarts

Thank you. Decided to reinstall windows, and disconnect every hard drive except the newest SSD. It went fine reinstalling, drivers should be updated. Went with BitDefender Antivirus Free Edition this time. Added a fresh SF debug File to attachments.

    Solved Random restarts

Just got another sudden restart, while playing a game. Around 1 and a half hour into it. Ran Driver Verifier again, and as last time I kept getting BSODs, files in attachments. Considering re-installing Windows on the new SSD, and removing the raid from the Intel disks.

    Solved Random restarts

I had a Razer BlackWidow Stealth 2014 connected, removed it and uninstalled Razer Synapse. It didn't give me any problems on my previous computer though. I also have a Blue Snowball mic connected.

    Solved Random restarts

So I did some more research. I have three extra hard drives connected, Samsung F3 (hd103sj), Seagate Barracuda 2TB (st2000dm001), and a new SSD Crucial MX100 256GB. Both HDD's fail to run "Data Lifeguard Diagnostic for Windows" within a few seconds, with error code = 7 (failed read test...

    Solved Random restarts

Thank you. From what I've read, Prime95 is not recommenced for my CPU. I've been running both Aida64 and Intel Extreme Tuning Utility (only the stress testing part). I hit around 70 degrees on 100% load for my CPU, and 50-ish on my GPU. Running Prime95 (did it once), I hit 80+ and according to...

    Solved Random restarts

Thank you, will run it over the night. The PC has been running fine since this morning, but I just got a sudden restart. It's been on all day. Tried updated the drivers marked with red, and I disabled "nVidia Streaming Kernel service". Could try to reinstall Windows 8.1 if that could help...

    Solved Random restarts

Thank you. I'm guessing the Asus ones comes from Asus AI Suite 3? I have the newest version on the website, Version 1.00.83 - 2014/11/21. Uninstalled it, so will see if that helps. Uninstalled GPU-z. Not sure what Asus USB Hub filter is, but I have the only USB driver from the website, Asmedia...

    Solved Random restarts

It's a 750W platinum PSU though, and according to Corsair link software the system only draws around 300W at full load (running Aida64). I'm not that pleased with the cables though, they were a bit hard to mount into the PSU itself. I'll go over it. Thanks.

    Solved Random restarts

Hi there, I have a new PC I put together a few weeks ago. It ran fine until I tried to do some overclocking a couple of days ago, didn't see one single blue screen. The PC is running on a semi-custom water loop, Swiftech H220-x + a 240MM rad and the GPU, temps seems to be ok. After the blue...
