I've had it for about 4 years. Made dell replace the motherboard when it died 4 days after the warranty was up. What have I learned? Never buy another dell again. Thing is a worthless pile of junk.

Re-installed Windows 7 with CCC. And still doesn't detect the hdmi at all.

Everything installed that time. Im beginning to think the HDMI port is junk. Tried 2 different HDMI cords and neither one even recognized it was connected.

Just seen it. Will give a shot and report back.

It says the drivers are installed. On W7 I had the CCC and that was how I switched it.

Even if someone coul help me figure out how to get the HDMI port to show up so I an switch it. Only reason why I need it.

Quick search shows that there are no drivers, AKA, AMD doesn't give a crap. Sounds like I may be better off going back to Windows 7.

Ya, my bad. Its a 4250. Im trying to driver install off the Dell CD now. Will report back shortly.

Ive tried the dell disk, downloading the drivers off of the AMD site and it still gives me the exact same error everytime. Im trying to get the CCC to install so that I can switch the display to my HD out port. Here is what it tells me: Packages for install AMD APP SDK Runtime Final Status...
